We are a full service location service company, capable of going well beyond location scouting.
- We can supply many services beyond location scouting. We can work with your company on such services as local casting, supplying local crew members and craftsmen including handling training for those with
limited experience, working with local government agencies, and location production management services.
- We offer location services thruout the region between the continental divide in Colorado and the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. With the exceptions of the Moab area and Monument Valley the area has been
effectively ignored by the motion picture industry, despite offering nearly everything that can be found elsewhere, short of 'big city downtown' locations. We are also close enough to Salt Lake City and
Denver to take advantage of their resources.

In the immediate vicinity of our Rangely location are extensive location sources. First and formost, of course, are the wide open spaces of the
American west. This is one of the few areas where you will think you can see to the end of the world with no signs of civilization, yet we are not limited to scenic vistas. Rangely was an oil boom town in
the early fifties, and still retains some of the look of a 'dusty little oil town'. Energy is still the primary industry of the area, including oil services, underground and surface coal mining, electric power
generation, and natural gas. In addition we have a community college, a number of attractive parks, a recreation center that rivals that of many good size cities, a local golf course, a local airport capable of
handling smaller jets, and areas of modern upscale housing. |

There are many other features to be found in the area. Wildlife is abundant, including: pronghorn (antelope), elk, mule deer, prairie dogs, and
eagles. Cattle and sheep ranching are still common to the area. Amung our natural features are Dinosaur National Monument, Blue Mountain (home to national hang gliding competitions), Brown's Park (Butch
Cassidy & Sundance Kid hideout), Douglas Pass, and the White, Green, and Yampa Rivers. |

Close by to our east are the Steamboat Springs ski area, the Flat Tops wilderness, and White River National Forest; and to our west are Flaming Gorge, the High
Uintahs, the Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation, and the town of Vernal, which can easily stand in for most any small town, or for a much larger town. |

South of Douglas Pass is the city of Grand Junction. Grand Junction has many of the attributes of a much larger city, including both modern and older
commercial and industrial areas, a large regional hospital, a convention center, modern mall and shopping facilities, a state college, a large city park, and many choices of residential neighborhoods which could stand
in for neighborhoods anywhere. The surrounding area offers farming, vinyards and wineries, and orchards. Other potential locations in the area include Colorado National Monument and the Colorado River.
The ski areas of Aspen and Vale are not far to the east, as are old time mining areas. |
